Refer a Friend Program Terms and Conditions
1. Definitions
1.1. For the purposes of these Terms and Conditions:
- The “Promoter” is Darren Tollemache trading as Beat the Mould (ABN 61359846903) of 10/40 Penkivil Street, Bondi.
- The “Referrer” is the individual referring a friend or new customer.
- The “Referred Friend” is the new customer purchasing services as part of this promotion.
2. Eligibility
2.1. The program is open to individuals aged 18 years or older.
2.2. The Referred Friend must be a new customer who has not previously engaged with Beat the Mould.
2.3. The Referrer and Referred Friend must not reside in the same household.
2.4. This promotion cannot be combined with other discounts or offers.
2.5. Both the Referrer and Referred Friend must follow the referral process outlined in Section 3.
2.6. Rewards and discounts are one-time benefits and are not recurring.
3. Referral Process
3.1. The Referrer must obtain the Referred Friend’s consent before sharing their details.
3.2. The Referrer submits the Referred Friend’s details via the online Refer a Friend form.
3.3. An introductory email will be sent to the Referrer, who must forward it to the Referred Friend.
3.4. The Referred Friend must complete the sign-up form and engage Beat the Mould for:
- A mould inspection service valued at $200 + GST or more, or
- A mould removal service valued at $450 + GST or more
3.5. The Referrer will receive their $50 reward after the Referred Friend pays their first invoice.
3.6. The Referred Friend will receive a $50 discount if their first service is a mould removal valued at $450 + GST or more. This is discount is not applicable to mould inspection service valued at $200 + GST or more.
4. Rewards and Discount Conditions
4.1. Rewards are issued only after the Referred Friend fully pays their invoice.
4.2. Canceled services or unpaid invoices disqualify the Referrer from receiving the reward.
4.3. The $50 reward is non-transferable, non-recurring, and paid via electronic bank transfer.
4.4. The Referred Friend’s $50 discount applies only to their first mould removal service valued at $450 + GST or more.
4.5. Discounts and rewards cannot be transferred, exchanged, or retroactively applied.
5. Limitations and Exclusions
5.1. Referrers can refer an unlimited number of friends, provided each meets eligibility criteria.
5.2. Referrals outside Beat the Mould’s service area are not eligible.
5.3. Discounts and rewards cannot be combined with other promotions.
5.4. Beat the Mould reserves the right to decline or cancel any referred friend’s service, at which point no reward will be issued.
6. Privacy
6.1. The Referrer must have the Referred Friend’s consent to share their details, adhering to applicable privacy laws.
6.2. Beat the Mould accepts no liability for shared details without proper consent.
7. Program Modifications and Termination
7.1. Beat the Mould reserves the right to modify or terminate the program without prior notice.
7.2. Qualified referrals made before termination will still be honored.
8. General
8.1. Participation in this program constitutes acceptance of these terms.
8.2. Disputes will be governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia.
